Tomodachi Life TV Screen Pixel Art Planner
Use this plan for title cards, fake TV frames, logos, wide scenes, and simple animation-style stills that need a landscape canvas instead of a square grid.
Workflow order
Follow these steps before exporting so the grid stays practical to copy by hand.
- Switch to the TV screen canvas before importing the source image.
- Crop the source wide enough to keep the main action inside the frame.
- Use 48x24 as the default TV grid so the scene stays copyable.
- Increase contrast before color matching if the screen still looks muddy.
Cleanup checks
Use these checks after color matching and before the numbered export.
- Keep the focal subject away from the left and right edges.
- Use darker outline rows to separate characters from the background.
- Avoid tiny subtitles unless they are part of a simple logo block.
